Eighth Grade is a brilliantly crafted film about a shy, self-conscious teen navigating the choppy waters of social interaction and adolescence in the age of social media.
With a standout performance from Elsie Fisher who plays the socially anxious lead so well you can almost feel your adolescent-self, place a hand of solidarity on your shoulder as you watch.
Eighth Grade is definitely more than just another high-school film it's a not so subtle study into the agony of growing up Generation Z.
