Information about the Event: Directors Notes is counting down the days until 25th April when we launch the first live WeAreDN Awards Ceremony, celebrating the best work submitted to DN in 2023.
This is a chance to mingle with our top rated filmmakers, sit back and enjoy a screening of our award winning films and network with like minded creatives at London’s Whirled Cinema.
The awards will be presented by BAFTA Breakthrough filmmaker Ella Glendining whose BAFTA-nominated documentary ‘Is There Anybody Out There’ premiered at Sundance and sat on DN’s jury alongside Adrian Barber, festival director of the BIFA and BAFTA qualifying Bolton Film Festival and filmmaker Giuseppe Garau who was recently awarded the Grand Jury Prize at Slamdance for his debut feature ‘The Accident’.
